My Real Estate career began in Brooklyn in 1972 with a large Real Estate company, I worked with them until 1979, I started as a Management Trainee and ultimately became a Vice President and General Manager for the Long Island division. I was also the primary instructor and recruiter for sales agents in my division. I developed a training program that became the standard by the entire company.
In 1979 I decided to go out on my own and established Buffy Real Estate, Inc. in Western Suffolk County. Most Real Estate companies had little interest in the Condo and H.O.A. market so I decided to specialize in those communities in hopes of filling the void that existed for those properties. Within 3 years we became the premiere broker in the area for the Condo and H.O.A. communities.
I was asked to instruct both Brokers and Agents to meet their state requirements for licensing in the subject of Condo, H.O.A. and Co.op properties, I did so for several year at a Real Estate school here on Long Island.
